Recreational Coaches and Referee Guide (Fall 2009)

In order to be considered for a Head Coach or a Assistant Coach, you must have successfully completed both the Chesterfield County Background Search Form and gone thru the search without incident and also complete and submit to MYSL, a VYSA Risk Management Form. Both of these forms can be found under Forms on this website. For your convenience, Chesterfield County Background Searches are set up for our club to be held on the nights of the Pre-Season Coaches Meeting. Dates and times to be announced.

For all Head Coaches: In order for all Head Coaches to receive a voucher for coaching at the end of the season to use towards the next season of play, you must have on file with MYSL and be listed on the Chesterfield County website as an approved Chesterfield County volunteer that has gone thru the background search successfully. You must also complete and have on file with MYSL a VYSA Risk Management Form. Also, a Team Summary Form must be completed and submitted electronically by the deadline to be considered.

For U10 and older age groups: In order for U10 and older Assistant Coaches to receive a  $40 voucher for coaching at the end of the season to use towards the next season of play, you must have on file with MYSL and be listed on the Chesterfield County website as an approved Chesterfield County Volunteer that has gone thru the background search successfully. You must also have completed 2 coaches clinics. Also, you must complete a VYSA Risk Management Form. Also, your Head Coach must have submitted his/her Team Summary Form electronically by the deadline to be considered. Only 1 Assistant Coach per team of U10 and older is entitled to receive a voucher based on the guidelines listed.
