Directions to Goochland Middle School for
U12 and up games only:

From Woodlake area (trip takes approximately
50 minutes):
Take Powhite Parkway north to Chippenham Parkway
north. Go over Wiley Bridge and continue north on the Parham
Road extension until you reach Patterson Avenue (about four or
five traffic lights). Take a left turn onto Patterson Avenue
heading west. Patterson Avenue is also known as Route 6. Continue
west on Patterson Avenue to the town of Goochland which will
be approximately 20 miles. You will have past two state correctional
facilities and State Road 522 will merge with Patterson Avenue.
Continue on Patterson Avenue (Rt 6) through the town of Goochland
(watch your speed limits) until you reach the intersection
where State Road 522 splits from Patterson Avenue. *** There
will be a traffic light at this intersection and you will
be facing the Goochland High School. Continue on Patterson Avenue
another three (3) miles to Dogtown Road (also known as State
Road 614). (You will have passed the site for the new Goochland
and Middle Schools). Make a right turn on Dogtown Road. There
is a sign at this corner for the Middle School. Continue
on Dogtown Road for just over three (3) miles and the school
will be on your left. The soccer field is along side the school.
OR
Take Midlothian Turnpike (Route 60) west from Midlothian
into Powhatan County until you reach State Road 522. Turn right
on State Road 522 heading north toward Goochland. Once you
cross the James River you will merge with Patterson Avenue.
Make a left onto Patterson Avenue (heading west) and continue
through the town of Goochland. Resume with directions above
at the three asterisks (***).
OR
Take Powhite Parkway north
over the James River onto I195 heading north. Follow
I195 north until you reach I64 and take I64 west toward Charlottesville.
Continue west on I64 past Short Pump until you reach
the exit for State Road 522 / Goochland. Take this exit and
head south on State Road 522. In approximately one to two miles
you should see Whitehall Road on your right. There
is a BP gas station across the street. Make a right turn onto
Whitehall Road. There is a sign here for the Middle School.
Follow Whitehall Road only about one to two tenths of a mile
to Dogtown Road. Make a left onto Dogtown Road heading south.
The school is about one mile down Dogtown Road on your right.
For U10 Girls & Boys Directions Only:
Take Powhite Parkway north to Chippenham

Reynolds will be on the right side right after Southtrust Bank.
Make right there, the road winds around where the new Goochland
Y is being built and comes out at J. Sargent Reynolds parking
lot. Park at the furthest end of the lot since the U-10 field
is up behind the tennis courts.
OR
Take Midlothian Turnpike (Route 60) west
from Midlothian into Powhatan County until you reach State
Road 522. Turn right on State Road 522 heading north toward
Goochland. Once you cross the James River you will merge with
Patterson Avenue (Rt.6). Make a left onto Patterson Avenue
(heading west). Proceed thru the town of Goochland (still west
on Rt 6). The entrance of J. Sargent Reynolds will be on the
right side right after Southtrust Bank. Make right there, the
road winds around where the new Goochland Y is being built
and comes out at J. Sargent Reynolds parking lot. Park at the
furthest end of the lot since the U-10 field is up behind the
tennis courts."
OR
Take Powhite Parkway north over the James
River onto I195 heading north. Follow I195 north until you
reach I64 and take I64 west toward Charlottesville. Continue
west on I64 past Short Pump until you reach the Oilville/Rockville
exit of I-64. Make left at the end of the exit ramp. Go to
the light on Broad Street. Make a right onto Broad Street for
about ½ mile or so.
Make a left on Fairground road. Follow Fairground for 6-7 miles.
J. Sargent Reynolds school and fields will be on your left.
