Please indicate below which type of team you are bringing to the tournament.
These are the team types that have been sanctioned with VYSA for eligibility
to be able to participate. One team type only must be selected. Failure to
completely fill out the application will prohibit acceptance of your team
into the tournament. All information must be competed. No travel teams or
travel players are allowed to participate in the Mega Blast or teams that
have gone thru a tryout process of any type.

Recreational Team with Guest Players – A team that participates in a
recreational, house or intramural program for a club, league or association
plus. . . .no more than 5 guest players can be added to your regular season
roster for U12-U19 age groups and no more than 5 guest players can be added
to your regular season roster for U8–U10 age groups.

Recreational Team – A team that participates in a recreational, house,
or intramural program for a club, league or association with no guest
players added.

No All Star Teams are allowed in the tournament.
(All Stars Teams are identified as those teams that take players from more
than 1 team AND would involve more than 5 players included on a roster as
guest players.)

***If your team type should change after registering, you must notify the
MYSL Tournament Committee immediately.***

There will be All Girls teams or Coed Teams; however, Coed Teams do not have to have girls registered to them. A Coed team may have all Boys on it.

Red is the highest level of competition, white is the middle level of competition and blue would be the lowest level of competition for the Mega Blast.

Please note that the division that you request is not necessarily the division that you will end up in. After all applications are received for a specific age group, the tournament committee will look at the group as a whole and then determine by a number of factors where each team should be placed.

I understand that I can add no more than 5 guest players to my recreational roster.

Note: Just because you register as a Rec team with no guests does not mean that you will be placed in a lower bracet competition.

All teams must submit their Fall Record. If you are not playing as a fall league, you must give an explanation why below. Even if you were a new team for the Fall 2008, you must note your record or you stand to be placed in the highest division.

Application AND payment must be RECEIVED by October 15, 2008 in order to for application to be considered complete; Entry fees cannot be refunded after final acceptance.

Once this application is submitted, in order to be complete, you will need to contact the office at (804) 744-8505 in order to make payment by credit card. The application will not be accepted without payment. Payment is expected at the time application is made. In the event that we are unable to accept your team, payment amount will be refunded. By calling the league office, we will be able to run a credit card payment for you and thus secure your spot for the 2008 Mega Blast. Please call between 9am and 1pm with the information.
